United Master Executive Council

of the Air Line Pilots Association

 

The United Master Executive Council of the Air Line Pilots Association is the governing body that represents the 7,400 pilots and 1,437 furloughed pilots of United Airlines. The United MEC charts the course for the pilots in contract negotiations with the management of United Airlines, and establishes by-laws and direction for the various committees to follow when working with their counterparts at United Airlines.

The United MEC is made up three Officers, 16 status reps and eight non-status reps, all who represent pilots from the eight United pilot domiciles (Washington-Dulles, Chicago, Seattle, Denver, San Francisco, New York-JFK, Los Angeles and the Denver Training Center.
